Women's Head Coach/Assistant Men's Coach
Craig started playing rugby as a five year old at his local team, Oakham Rugby Club in England. As he progressed through the age groups, Craig represented Leicester Tigers Academy, Northampton Saints Academy and Scottish Exiles. In the senior ranks, he represented Heriot's Rugby Club in Edinburgh, Scotland.
In his early twenties, Craig traveled to Hong Kong where he worked for the Hong Kong Rugby Union. His roles included Head Coach of local club Hong Kong Scottish and roles within the national age-grade set-up. Craig has been part of two u20 World Rugby Trophies as a backs coach. Craig has been capped for Hong Kong and has coached India XV in the 2015 Rugby World Cup qualifiers and India 7s in the Rio 2016 qualifiers.
In 2015, Craig became the Head Coach of the Yale women’s rugby team and is a USA Rugby Level 300 coach and a World Rugby coach educator. Craig also assists with Yale men.

From the province of Leinster in Ireland, Greg was educated at St Michael's College, UCD, PCD & Trinity College Dublin, holding a head coach's (stage 4) accreditation from the I.R.F.U and a Level 300 badge by USA Rugby. Before joining Yale Rugby in August 2014, he was a business and geography teacher for 13 years. As a player, Greg represented Ireland at Collegiate level.
Director of Rugby, St Michaels College, 2006-2007 -Head coach of St Michael's College Senior 1st XV 2007-2010. -Winner of the Leinster Schools senior cup in 2007 for the first time in the school's history. -Irish Women's coach at the Women's Rugby World Cup in London 2010 and France 2014 -Winners of the Women's 6 Nations Championship 2013 for the first time in the country's history. -Coach with the Leinster Under 19's Men's squad from 2010-2014. -USA Men's Collegiate All Americans coach May 2015-present.
Strength and Conditioning
Mike, now in his fourth year at Yale, has worked with All-Ivy athletes, National Team and National Junior Team members, NCAA Division I qualifiers, men's basketball Ivy League champions, and an NFL-bound football player.
In May 2014, Lauren graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Baccalaureate Degree in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine. She is currently enrolled in her third year of Quinnipiac University’s graduate level Doctorate in Physical Therapy program. The highlight of her experience has been working with a great range of athletes both through employment and her undergraduate clinical rotations.
In addition to her new position with YWRFC, she is also a Part-Time Athletic Trainer at Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford and is responsible for the general wellness and medical care of over 20 interscholastic teams. During her undergraduate rotations, she had the pleasure of working with high caliber athletic populations such as the 2013 MAAC Field Hockey Champions, Yale Women’s Lacrosse Team and Track and Field Teams, Quinnipiac University Men’s Ice Hockey Team, and Holy Cross College Football Team.
David Kovacevic, MD, joined Yale Orthopaedics in 2015 after completing his clinical fellowship at Columbia University and the Center for Shoulder, Elbow and Sports Medicine. As an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Yale School of Medicine and an Attending Orthopaedic Surgeon at Yale New Haven Hospital, he educates residents and fellows to be caring and diligent surgeons. He and his team place a priority of putting the patient first.
Dr. Kovacevic specializes in complex primary and revision shoulder and elbow repair, reconstruction, and replacement utilizing all-arthroscopic, arthroscopic-assisted, and open surgical techniques to relieve patients of their pain, restore their function, and improve quality of life. His personal mission is simple—he strives to provide compassionate, quality, world class care to adults, adolescents, and athletes at all levels who sustain injuries of the shoulder girdle, shoulder, and elbow. During his clinical fellowship, he was assistant team physician for the Rockland Boulders Professional Baseball Club and Columbia University athletics, and cared for athletes on the New York Yankees and New York City Football Club.
Director of Club Sports
Tom has been the Director of Club Sports, Intramurals and the Outdoor Education Center at Yale since 1984. He holds a Master of Science degree from Southern Connecticut State University in outdoor recreation, leisure studies and college teaching.
